Tree Lined

Have you ever gotten in a car for a quiet drive and stumbled upon something that caught your attention for no apparent reason? This photo represents one of those moments. I went for a drive in the area of where I live and found inspiration in this tree lined driveway leading to a farm. It is early spring and the buds are ever so slowly coming out. It is a time of transition from winter to spring. Spring edging its way out but just not yet. This drive reminded me of times past and the anticipation of the future. Buds expressing interest to what is next....

Color of Inspiration

Welcome to Color of Inspiration!

This title has been swirling around in my head for quite some time and wondered what I was supposed to do with it. Well, here I am, a non-technology guru, branding my thoughts in a blog, of which I know nothing about. I am up for the challenge to learn as I go and hope that I will be able to express my interests and musings in this platform. Where will this go, I am not sure, but I am pleased that I have taken a first step forward. I have been inspired by many women and younger couples out there who wanted to start a blog for fun and the various paths their blogs have taken them and the talented people they have met along the way.

So, what inspires you? Or a better question to ask, what doesn't inspire you? I am a creative type who tends to get in her own way but finds immense beauty in the world even in my little corner of the world. Nature, ideas, colors, the beach, the mountains, streams, animals, flowers, plants, textures, shades, photography, calligraphy, writing, sketching, books, poetry, mantras, silence, laughter, subtleties of all sorts, you name it, some part of what is around me is inspiring. The Color of Inspiration was born because in my mind color isn't just a hue, but how we see the world through our own lens and what we do with that perspective is our own Color of Inspiration.

I hope you enjoy this journey with me as I challenge myself to a new endeavor and a path not yet discovered. I am sure there will be prickles along the way but pushing through and standing tall is my way of accepting and sorting out my place in the world, while I attempt to show you how I see the world through my own Color of Inspiration!
